Roar on the Moor was more Roast on the Moor but I couldn't have wished for a better day in the sunshine taking photos of some mad, but not bad, Classic Scramblers. Thankfully this time I remembered the suncream and the hat and found as many places in the shade as I could. Some very enthusiastic racing, not always managing to stay upright but racing through the clouds of dust it's not surprising. With the track watered on a tricky little corner coming out of bright sunlight into a patch of heavy shade, things seemed to ride better but I do wonder if a certain individual has a thing for rubber. ;-)
I hope the young man on 502 is recovering from his spill and the damage is not to severe, it certainly looked pretty painful when he was helped of the track by the Marshall into the capable hands of the Medics.
As per usual, please do take a look right through the Gallery of photos and if you would like an ecopy just use the Contact page and include your name and bike number.
If you aren't in the Gallery, maybe I'll get your best side another time. ;-)
