As a lot of you know who regularly log into this website to view my photos I'm always on the lookout for the next Challenge/Subject.

Having taken a few shots in the studio of some of Wellingborough Ladies Cricket Club an invite came and was quickly accepted to take photos at a men's match, so Wednesday evening that where I went.

The sun was low in the sky and very bright which made it difficult to shoot from the side with the preferred background but I was quite happy with a few of these.

It also brought back the memory of sneaking out of College to watch Surrey CC play way back in 67/68.   Sitting in the sun and hearing the resounding crack as leather hit willow and the polite applause, I think things have changed a little now.

Thank you Wellingborough CC for the invite, I will be back too take more another time.
