Where to start on this one is difficult as within just a very few minutes of kick off Wellingborough were caught napping and Anstey scored. Did they deserve to go on and win, I don't think so. WTFC had to put up with a fair amount of dirty tricks, with Anstey getting away with many of them. Whether the Ref saw them or not that for his conscience but in my day pulling a player over from behind using his shirt was a foul and a sending off was a certainty for an aggressive attack with the hand or fist.
But such is life and although WTFC never gave up trying they did miss a couple of chances to equalise and then take the lead but these weren't to be.
Anstey's poor behaviour carried on both at half time and after the Final Whistle when most, if not all of their team ignored the Covid 19 Rules and went straight into the dressing room. To me it showed total ignorance and no respect for either their own or anybody else's health, especially when they remonstrated with officials of the Club.
