Invited down to take photos of the game between Wellingborough Town Res, some who I recognised from a few years ago when I regularly took photos of the local Phoenix FC , against Cogenhoe with more or less perfect weather to take photos in.
The game was end to end with Wellingborough, although losing, playing well in the 2nd half really lifting their efforts and coming close to scoring. Heads didn't drop even when Cogenhoe scored there fourth goal, which was a good sign for future games. The final photo is my choice for Man of the Match, my reason for choosing him is that he never gave up, he ran, he tackled, he played his heart out and he supported the Team.
I hope to be invited to take photos again but meanwhile I hope these photos give you some idea of how even the game was and the delightful little lady just 5 months old who also watched the game.
