An early start and a long drive up the M1 to the venue just south of Chesterfield in the beautiful Derby Dales surrounding the village of Ashover for the V.S.C.C. John Harris Trial. A hard frost on the ground for he first competitors quickly thawed as the sun shone and made most of the sections very difficult with mud and water upto the axles which during the day just got slipperyer and slipperyer. I still shudder when I see these beauties being put through their paces, paces their designers could of hardly envisaged they would be used for. The enthusiasim that excudes from every face both young and old is a joy to watch and I hope in this gallery I've captured just a small part of it. If you would like a copy of any of these photos please do drop me an email through the contact page on this website. Meanwhile I look forward to photographing the members of the V.S.C.C. somewhere soon. ;-)
