My Thanks to all those who took part in the Memorial Ride for Andy Stollar, it certainly was good to see so much support for this. Photos I took are on the Somerset Scramble Club Facebook Page.
As for the track and races, again this was well organised and ran pretty smoothly with some real neck and neck racing, and the odd wide elbows assisting the rider. Not too much dust either which made quite a change.
I hope the two riders who came to grief that required both the Air Ambulance and the Road Ambulance are well on the road to recovery and will be back racing next year
I must say I have really enjoyed taking photo of your hobby this year and will be back trackside as soon as I see an events list for 2023.
For now this is the last Gallery of photos for Classic Scrambles for 2022, although I do have Weymouth Beach Race to edit and on a promise to take photos at Long Buckby, Northants, on the 16th Oct.
The same applies to any photos, I can send you e-copies free of charge, all you need do is use the Contact Page on the website and send me your name, number and the colour of your bike. (There are some with the same number ie.18 and I've yet to get my head round which is which). If you don't see your number please still ask as I may have a shot anyway.
