Very few words are needed to describe the 'Siege of Crowland Abbey'  by the City of London Brigade - Sealed Knot.   Awesome, Superb, Amazing and darn good fun.


Thanks have to go to the people of Crowland for turning out in such numbers to support the event and to those involved with organising what for me has too be the very best event of the year.  Fire Pikes, scaling ladders, cannon and musket fire and a full on massed assault of the Abbey walls along with the Commentary admirably carried out by Robin Stinson of Haselrigs Regiment in was one ..... of an event.

Thanks also have to go to Charles and Mike for not only being willing to let us scale the walls but too agree to be tied up, all in the cause of History.

Oh yes without shadow of a doubt we do want too come back.
