Warm sunshine today saw Sidmouth take on Withycombe Ladies at Bicton as Sidmouth's home pitch was unplayable. The game itself was a hard fought end to end battle with neither side giving much ground but despite two players from Withycombe being given their marching orders in the latter stages, they still held on to win 8 - 5.
In these photos I've tried to capture the enthusiasm and drive both teams played with, so I hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I enjoyed taking them.
For those that asked if I was ok after having the ball land on the back of my neck, I'm fine and my only concern is to protect my camera. I'd be lost without it. ;-)
