Only a few more opportunities for me to take photos of football matches this season. So today found me taking photos of the Whitworth Res FC v Cogenhoe Utd.

​Whitworth's went one down and heads dropped and the play got a little slack with players not taking control of the ball and hence the game.  Thankfully the half time talk must have done some good as during the second half Whitworth's played a different game entirely, fought and won the ball and scored the winning goal just minutes before the final whistle.

​The pile of players in celebration just made me wince for the poor jap and the bottom of the pile.

A reasonable game but rather heated at times which resulted in a Booking for a Cogenhoe player who was lucky not to be sent off later in the match.
