Wow, and wow again, talk about bringing back some treasured memories of my youth. (Just a decade or so ago, well ok maybe quite a few decades ago). Outfits thundering round Tunnel Hill, Pirbright, on Boxing Day before we went to my Grandads home in Brookwood Cemetery for a sumptuous Boxing Day High Tea. I digress but those memories were rekindled when the 'Outfits' took on quite a technical track at Smeatharpe.
Tweseldown was also another venue, there were others but Boxing Day was something very special in the late 50's early 60's.
Wonderful to see such enthusiasm among those taking part, not the easiest of things to handle and some had what seemed to be the perfect passenger with no fear for their own safety.
Did I enjoy it. You bet I did, so I hope these photos jog a memory or two and you enjoy them as well.
