Not much really to say on this FA Cup Youth Match game except that it was a pretty even match with regards to who had control of the ball percentage wise but the Wellingborough lads stuck too it an eventually won by 3 :1. One of the WTFC goals was an absolute blinder worthy of a much higher league player wearing number 21, (I must write the team names down and learn them at some stage) scoring by a beautiful swerving ball from perhaps 10yds inside Biggleswade's half right on the side line. If I say so myself, that young man can really play and reminded me of the stars of my much younger days.
There were a few yellow cards floating about for both teams but non to serious and only one player got a little heated, not a WTFC lad, they kept their cool even when a penalty was awarded against them which at the time made it 1:1.
Good Luck in the next round WTFC U18's I hope to follow you all the way to lifting the Trophy, I'm sure you have the heart to go far.
