We have passed by Sizergh Castle numerous times and hadn't realised what a beautiful place it was so our thanks have to go to Lilburne's for the invite.

Great location, great weather on the Saturday but .............  when you have a local ask 'Why do you think Cumbria is so green' , you realise that rain on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday morning wasn't unusual.

And a wonderfully eclectic interior which is a must too see if you get the chance.
