Being under the weather with a sore throat and a hacking cough put the dampers on me a little this weekend but from what I could see of the SK battle it was good, and the feedback I've heard from both the Public and other re-enactors has been good.

My apologies if I didn't take your photo, especially those groups I never got round too see or too talk to but next year I promise I will.

Just a couple of disappointments, one being the EH Media Pass that only let you have closer access to the battlefield by the PA van.  That was the view you didn't want as it was the backs of every group that took part in the main arena, secondly the large white rope that EH use on the inner rope line.  If you are trying to take photos or are limited in stature you constantly have to bob your head up and down to view the action, this also results in children fidgeting as they can't see and photographers deleting hundreds of photos.

If that rope was lower or even better the green nylon tape used at other EH events it would be appreciated by both spectators and photographers alike. ;-)
