What a lovely change this was too our usual hectic re-enactment weekends and a chance for 'The Aldwinckle's 17thC Living History' to have its first outing of the year. Great location, well organised and with a very relaxed approach with both public and other re-enactors making the most of purchasing that 'period piece'.  I did'nt appreciate the hailstorms on saturday but I hear the Romans sufered greatly from hailstones hitting bare legs and toes. ;-)  Already booked for next year and its well worth a visit from reenactors and public alike.
