Vivacity organise the Peterborough Festival and this time to boost numbers Pickering's Regiment invited support from a variety of Regiments in the Sealed Knot, including members from Skippons, Hammonds, Tillier's, Lilburnes and the Kings Guard so more than trebling the numbers in previous years.
With the Civil War camp situated in the garden of the Bishops Palace with the heavenly perfume of roses heavy in the evening air it was delightful, so my thanks has to go to the Bishop for allowing this and also to his gardener for doing such a splendid job.
A very busy weekend with Drill displays and a little Skirmish in the Cathedral Square and filming for an American Travel Show it was fun packed and thankfully a dry weekend.
Thanks to Mark Atkins 2ic of Pickering's for all his hard work in organising the event on behalf of the Sealed Knot.
