Perseverance eventually paid of in the end to end match between Devon & Dorset/Wiltshire Ladies Rugby held at the home ground of Withycombe RFC, when with less than two minutes before the final whistle Devon scored a try which was well converted.  In all fairness I doubt if anyone could have predicted a win for either side as it was running so close for so long, and I suspect some would have been happy with a draw such was the difficulty in splitting these two sides.  A game played with guts and determination and with no apparent animosity between any of those taking part.  The score 7 -0.

I must mention the very raucous supporters of the Dorset/Wilts side, I should think they were very quiet on the way home, not for the loss but their vocal chords really had been stretched to the limits.  ;-)
