Not sure quite what to say about this event but my Grandson aged 10yrs persuaded me to go. Did I enjoy it, yes to some degree as I love to take photos of people taking part in their hobby, no matter how eeeerrrrrrrrrrrr (choosing my words carefully here) eccentric that hobby appears to be to me.
Only gripe, and yes I know it's for safety, is the chain link fencing as even standing at the top of the bank I'm not tall enough to get a clear shot unless the vehicles are the other side of the raceway.
I was also trying to think when I last saw this form of madness and it must have been back in the late 60's/ early 70's at the old raceway in Aldershot.
Will I be back, it looks as if I will be there this coming Monday as Grandson is persuasive as was one of the Nutters, sorry drivers, who is taking part.
