On a very warm May evening you couldn't ask for more than to sit in a beautiful Church and listen to both the Nene Valley Community Band, followed by the Shoe Town Band. Pop of the Tops certainly brought back memories of a far gone era when myself and many in the audience were young. A delightful selection from both Bands had peoples feet tapping and a few singing happily along.
Always difficult to take photos in Churches as most are low light and I won't use a flashlight as it does distract the musicians, so first here are the Nene Valley Community Band at the end of which Matt (Conductor) is congratulated by his daughter. Followed by Shoe Town who I have the pleasure of sitting in to rehearsals so see first hand the effort people put into their hobby and producing a Concert of such a high standard, long may they continue.
