An outstanding performance by the Northampton Concert Band  during the National Concert Band Regional Finals where they achieved a Platinum Award after the two previous years only (still a very high standard) Gold Award, so the duck was broken much to everyone's delight. Last Year the Band went on to receive a Platinum Award at the National Finals so its hopefully onwards and upwards to next years Nationals which take place in April 2026 in Manchester.
