A wonderful welcome from the twinning association between Kelkheim and High Wycombe for those who attended the 40th Anniversary. End to end ntertainment from the very young musicians to the , lets say very mature, with a huge variety of instruments from an Alpine Horn to a piccolo, a half sized double bass to maracas wielded by the President of the Bedfordshire Royal British Legion Band. The Chiltern Hills Brass were supported by a number of the Bedfordshire RBL Band and we can thank them for the invite, look forward to the next as well. It was lovely to see the audience participate including the ladies who stepped forward to play percussion instruments during the African Symphony and the children of musicians keeping themselves occupied with drawing and games on a tablet, hence the photos included in this Gallery.
There is a whole list of people that need a thank you, so please take it as read.
I did have difficulty during the evening performance due the constant changing in the lighting, so some photos have ended in the bin but I think you will excuse the rather red and the rather blue photos as they were taken with difficulty.
