Due to Copywrite I was unable to take photos of the screen showing the Snowman film, but this extraordinary group of musicians performed the most amazing piece which had the audience in raptors. It is hard to believe that the film was first shown 43 years ago as it brought back obvious Treasured Memories to so many watching.
Personally having attended all bar one rehearsal I can honestly say this took hours and hours of hard work, probably days and days by Gordon the Conductor , but this performance was magical and well worth the time and commitment from all involved.
Photos are from the rehearsal prior to todays performance and during it. Yes, I love the reactions of the children who attended today, hence the photos taken with permission of parents.
The first couple of photos however are an example of 13thC Graffiti and a Wood Carving that escaped the fire.
