A very early start for my Partner and I as we travelled down to Leighton Buzzard from our home in Northants, but well worth the 6.30am alarm as we drove through mainly empty roads and I could enjoy the scenery.
Joined by 19 Members of the Bedfordshire Royal British Legion Band we waited for chairs, supplied by the Council. When they duly arrived the Band settled down to an impromptu rendition of Men of Harlech from the 'Tunes and Toasts for All Times', followed by Heart of Oak in honour of the Sailors and Marines attending the Remembrance Service.
Once Wreathes were laid by the dignitaries and many organisations a Service was held in All Saints Parish Church, were a collection took place for the Poppy Appeal.
